The moment I got my first iPod Touch, I was hooked. I was photographing everything, heavily editing every shot, and entering any photo contest I could find (lol). Eventually, I got a hand-me-down Canon Rebel and brought it to college, asking everyone I knew to model for me. What started as portraits for friends turned into couples sessions and, eventually, my first wedding.
That wedding changed everything. I fell in love with documenting the unique connection between two people and creating photos that bring those same emotions rushing back years later. Six years later, I’m still just as geeked to call this my job. I’m based in Charlotte, North Carolina, but always down to travel!

...let me take you back in time to help you understand how I got here!
As soon as I got my hands on my first iPod touch, it was game over. I was outside taking pictures of everything. I'm talking blades of grass to self-portraits; I was heavily editing every single picture I took and submitting them to any photo contest I could find (lol). At some point, I got my hands on a hand-me-down Canon Rebel and took it to college with me. Whether you were my best friend or someone I had known for five minutes, I was asking you to model for me.
After a while, I started to venture out and take couple portraits for some of my friends, and eventually, I was asked to shoot a low-budget wedding. After that day, I absolutely fell in love with weddings and couples. The feeling of being able to document (in real time!) unique relationships to the point of looking at the photos and experiencing those same emotions was, and is, so purposeful for me.
I slowly upgraded my gear and started to gain clients. It's been six years since that first wedding, and I'm still so geeked to be able to call this my job. I'm based in Charlotte, North Carolina, but I'm happy to travel to wherever you and your hunny will have me. We are in love with our photos! Maggie is wonderful! She put us at ease with suggestions and pointers on location, clothing, and so much more. She communicated clear expectations and everything was delivered on time. The shoot itself was such a fun experience and we are in LOVE with our photos. The moment I saw Maggie’s work I knew she was the one, and let me tell you, she far exceeded my expectations. I knew she was going to be amazing, without a doubt, she took my breath away. Every moment we talked about, she captured, and then some. She checked in with me constantly, we face timed, spoke on the phone, she had thorough questionnaires to fill out, created our whole photography timeline. She was fun to be around, made us feel extremely comfortable. I can’t say enough amazing things about her!
Maggie exceeded all expectations! I didn’t know if we were going to have to figure out poses for ourselves or what but that was not the case. She guided us through the entire shoot, and made it such a fun experience. I feel like she not only captured my relationship perfectly but my bond with my doggo! Will continue working with her
